In the wee hours of March 29, 1984, the Colts left Baltimore for Indianapolis.

It’s a date many Baltimoreans will never forget, and have never forgiven then-owner Robert Irsay for.

Now, as the Ravens are making their push toward Indianapolis and the site of Super Bowl XLVI, Irsay’s son is rooting for them.

Colts Owner Jim Irsay tweeted this Tuesday morning:

I’d love 2c Steve B get the Trophy and Baltimore n Indy…got tons of friends there n it’s only fitting with my good friend R Berry n tow!”

“Steve B” is Ravens Owner Steve Bisciotti. “R Berry” is former Baltimore Colts wide receiver Raymond Berry, who will help present the Lombardi Trophy to the Super Bowl winner.

The historical connections between the Ravens and the Colts continue to pile up.

What do you think of Irsay rooting for Baltimore?
