Terrell Suggs continues to pile up the accolades.

The Ravens outside linebacker has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks after getting three sacks and forcing three fumbles in the Ravens’ 24-10 win over Indianapolis.

“He’s playing great,” Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh said Monday. “I don’t think there’s a defensive player in the league who is playing better than Terrell Suggs right now.”

His three-sack afternoon was part of an overall dominating effort by the Ravens defense, which held the Colts to 167 total yards.

“Suggs was just a game-wrecker,” Harbaugh said.

Suggs has recorded three sacks in a game three times this season, with the other two coming against San Francisco (Week 13) and Pittsburgh (Week 1). He has won AFC Defensive Player of the Week after each of those games.

In the Ravens last three games, Suggs has seven sacks.

Sunday’s game gave him 13 sacks on the season, breaking his previous record of 12 set during his rookie season in 2003. He also became the first Ravens player to ever force three fumbles in a game, even though Baltimore was unable to recover any of them.

“We are not satisfied at all,” Suggs said. “We are happy to be at win No. 10, but we want this thing to peak—we want to go to the highest point we can.”

Suggs now has 58 tackles, 13 sacks, six forced fumbles and two interceptions on the year. He is having one of the best seasons of his nine-year career, but isn’t caught up on the individual honors right now.

“It only counts if we get to Indy and the confetti drop,” Suggs said after Sunday’s game. “Right now, I think we are all just doing our parts.”
