Head Coach John Harbaugh called into question reports that cornerback Lardarius Webb will miss time due to a toe injury.

The Carroll County Times is reporting that Lardarius Webb suffered a toe injury near the end of Sunday’s game against Indianapolis.

The report says the best-case scenario is that Webb will miss one game. The worst-case scenario is that he misses the final three games of the regular season.

Harbaugh said there were no serious injuries to come out of the game and that hadn’t changed by Monday afternoon.

“We’ve got bumps and bruises,” Harbaugh said. “There may be some guys we rest throughout the course of the week, practice wise, but we anticipate everybody that was playing last week, health wise, to be healthy this week.

Harbaugh was specifically asked about Webb.

“Lardarius played last week, so you have that answer.”

In his third year, Webb has become Baltimore’s standout cornerback.

He leads’ the Ravens secondary with four interceptions and is ninth in the NFL with 18 pass deflections. Webb had five tackles against the Colts on Sunday.

Other than his cornerback duties, Webb is also Baltimore’s punt returner. He is averaging 10.7 yards per return and had a 68-yard touchdown against the Cleveland Browns.

If Webb can’t play, he would likely be replaced in the starting rotation by rookie first-round pick Jimmy Smith, who has been serving as the third cornerback.

Veteran Chris Carr, who started all 16 games last year, has missed the past three games due to a back injury. He has missed seven games overall.

Harbaugh said he’s “hoping to add some guys” back to the field this Sunday against San Diego, namely linebacker Ray Lewis and Carr. He again said he’s “very hopeful” that Lewis can make a return after missing four straight games.
