Following the Ravens’ blockbuster 37-7 rout of the St. Louis Rams, both wideout Torrey Smith and quarterback Joe Flacco are up for NFL awards.

Ravens fans can vote for Smith for the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week honor, while Flacco is in the running for the FedEx Air NFL Player of the week award.

Smith broke out in the first start of his career, hauling in five balls for 152 yards and three touchdowns. Amazingly, he was the first rookie in NFL history to record three scores in the first quarter of a game.

Smith is up against four other rookies: Dallas Cowboys kicker Dan Bailer, Atlanta Falcons wideout Julio Jones, Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton and Oakland Raiders guard Stefan Wisniewski.

Meanwhile, Flacco posted career stats in St. Louis. The fourth-year quarterback set a personal best with 389 passing yards after completing 27 of 48 attempts.

It was also the sixth time in Flacco’s career when he topped the 300-yard mark.

Flacco’s competition is Tennessee Titans signal caller Matt Hasselbeck and New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning.
