The Ravens will look more familiar when all veterans and free agents can take the field on Aug. 4, as 12 of their own free agents officially signed their contracts Friday night.

Baltimore will retain five restricted free agents: offensive tackle Oniel Cousins; linebackers Jameel McClain and Tavares Gooden; and safeties Haruki Nakamura and Tom Zbikowski.

Long snapper Morgan Cox, linebacker Dannell Ellerbe, offensive lineman Bryan Mattison and cornerback Cary Williams signed as exclusive rights free agents.

And, free agents Marcus Smith, Prescott Burgess and Jalen Parmele were signed.

The Ravens withdrew the tender to defensive tackle Kelly Talavou, while offensive tackle Eric Vanden Heuval left the squad.

Per the NFL’s new collective bargaining agreement, the players cannot participate in training camp practices until the league year begins on Aug. 4.
