The Ravens signed third-round offensive tackle Jah Reid Thursday afternoon, just after the team’s first training camp practice began.

The hulking 6-foot-7, 330-pounder immediately joined his teammates on the field after taking the conditioning test.

“He is one of the few lineman to make it through practice, so I think that says a lot about him,” Harbaugh said. “He is an athlete. For a man his size, he can really bend and move his feet and he is picking up fast.”

First-round cornerback Jimmy Smith is the only remaining Ravens rookie yet to be signed. First-round picks historically take the longest.

Under the new collective bargaining agreement, all players beyond the first round get four-year contracts. Those in the first round can have an option for a fifth year.

”When my agent calls me and tells me the deal I will be signed,” Smith tweeted Thursday afternoon. “Trust I wanna be in practice..”
