The Ravens signed defensive back Danny Gorrer to their practice squad Thursday morning, filling the team’s final roster spot.

Baltimore didn’t have any defensive backs on its practice squad after waiving defensive back David Pender on Tuesday. The Ravens also released cornerback Bryan McCann last week.

Gorrer is entering his second NFL season and is now joining his fourth team.

The Texas A&M product first signed with the New Orleans Saints in 2009 as an undrafted rookie free agent and was added to their practice squad. Then he joined the St. Louis Rams’ 53-man roster in November. He saw action in three games, including one start, and recorded five tackles and one pass deflection.

The Rams waived him during the offseason and Gorrer was picked up by the Saints once again. They let him go, and four days later
Gorrer was signed off waivers by the Indianapolis Colts. But Gorrer didn’t make the final cut when rosters went to 53.

Gorrer has good size (6-0, 173) and speed. He reportedly ran a 4.4 at his Pro Day in 2009.
