The Ravens have reportedly reached an agreement with rookie free agent defensive back Brad Jones, according to Aaron Wilson of National Football Post.

Jones spent a month with the Ravens during their Organized Team Activities from mid-May to mid-July. The former University of Cincinnati safety and cornerback was originally signed after impressing Ravens coaches during a tryout.

The Ravens didn’t report any injuries after their first preseason game against the Carolina Panthers Thursday night, but they are still a bit banged-up in the secondary.

Young defensive backs K.J. Gerard and Marcus Paschal were scratched and missed practices last week. Cornerback Fabian Washington is practicing but hasn’t played at M&T Bank Stadium and Lardarius Webb is still on the physically unable to perform list.

Jones (6-foot, 192 pounds) showed good athleticism with a 39-inch vertical leap and a 4.53 second 40-yard dash at his pro day. He became a starter at Cincinnati during his senior year.
