Billy Cundiff and Shayne Graham will still get an equal chance to win the starting kicking job, but the format will be a little different than first thought.

Yesterday, Head Coach John Harbaugh anticipated that Cundiff and Graham would each get a half of kicking throughout each preseason game.

After talking more with Special Teams Coordinator Jerry Rosburg, the Ravens will now take turns on field goal attempts.

“That’s what Coach Rosburg wants to do,” Harbaugh said. “He feels like it’ll keep both those guys in the game for the whole game and give them a fair amount of reps. We’re looking forward to that.”

Cundiff, the incumbent, and Graham have been neck-and-neck throughout training camp thus far. Harbaugh said Saturday that he expects the decision to come down to a “gut feeling,” but added that the way they kick during the preseason games will be a big factor.
