The Ravens signed two more players that were key to their 2009 success in offensive lineman Marshal Yanda and running back Jalen Parmele.

Yanda, a third-round draft pick in 2007, was given a second-round tender, which meant that the Ravens would have first right of refusal if another team made him an offer, or would garner a second-round pick in exchange for Yanda.

The Iowa product has been a versatile and tough lineman for Baltimore.  He started 17 games at right tackle and guard during his first two seasons before suffering a serious knee injury in 2008 that caused him to miss 11 games.

Last year, Yanda successfully returned to action, starting nine contests at right guard as a key member of a line that paved the way for 2,200 rush yards (second-most in franchise history.

Parmele was an exclusive rights free agent, which meant that he had between zero and two years of service with the team.  A critical special teams contributor last season, Parmele totaled seven special teams tackles and averaged 31.4 yards on nine kickoff returns.

The deadline for all restricted free agents to sign their tenders is Thursday, April 15.
