Think you’re the only one excited that the Ravens traded for wide receiver Anquan Boldin?

General Manager Ozzie Newsome:
“Anquan is a player who makes the tough catches and he is outstanding getting yards after catches. He will also help the running game with his blocking skills. He’s a very tough competitor and, with the way he plays with passion, he’ll fit right in with the foundation we have for our team.”

Head Coach John Harbaugh:
“The Ravens just got better. Anquan is a significant addition for us. He fits the personality of our team with the hard-nosed, physical way he plays. We love the way he competes. Our fans will enjoy watching him compete and his teammates will be excited to have him with us.”

QB Joe Flacco:
“It fits perfect with our offense. He’s a big, physical guy that can run after the catch. I think it’s going to be a huge advantage for us. He’s another guy to throw the ball to, and he’s a proven guy. I just have to go out and get him the ball now. I’m pumped about it. It’s huge for me, for this offense and our entire team. I’m sure everybody is going to be excited to have him in the locker room.”

“Besides him being a great player, I think it will be good for the other guys we have. Obviously, he knows how to get the most out of himself, and he’ll help us get the most out of our other receivers.”

“He’s tough because he‘s played through some injuries. He has a presence across the middle. He can make some moves after the catch. He’s proven that in the past.”

“We need to use the whole field. Anyone that gives us a chance to do that is perfect. He’s a big body and can really do some damage for us. I couldn’t be more excited about it, but more importantly, I think our team is going to be better because of it.”
