It didn’t take AFC head coach Norv Turner long to go to Ravens running back Ray Rice, even though he’s third on the depth chart behind Chris Johnson (Tennessee) and Maurice Jones-Drew (Jacksonville).

After Johnson was heavily used on the AFC’s first two drives, Rice entered the game on his team’s third drive in the first quarter. Unfortunately,┬áit didn’t go so well.

The first play was a screen to Rice, which he made a nice adjustment to catch, but lost nine yards on. Rice then caught a third-down underneath pass for 12 yards, but it was seven yards short of the first down.
