There was an added electricity at the Ravens’ training facility in Owings Mills on Thursday, as the ever-ebullient Deion Sanders was in the house on assignment for the NFL Network.

“Prime Time” sat down with linebacker Ray Lewis, a longtime friend, for an exclusive interview that is going to air on the Network this weekend.

It was an interesting scene.  You see, Deion played in Baltimore from 2004-05, totaling 39 tackles and five interceptions in 25 games. So he still knows a lot of the people around the building.  Sanders went to the fieldhouse to watch practice, where he was happily greeted by Lewis and former teammates, then hung around and chatted with some of the younger players.

One of the funniest moments came when quarterback John Beck, 28, told Deion that he was a huge Prime Time fan as a kid.  After meeting Sanders, Beck did the shuffle dance that Deion is so famous for when he reaches the end zone, which he did 22 times in the NFL.

It’s kind of hard to explain, but just check out a highlight reel of his, and you’ll know.

“I promised myself that if I ever met you, I’d do the dance,” Beck laughed.
