Halloween doesn’t fall until this Saturday, and a Sunday game against the Denver Broncos means most Ravens players and coaches will be staying in this year.

But that doesn’t mean the Ravens can’t party, either.

On Monday night, wideout Mark Clayton, tight end Todd Heap, and for the first time, rookie tackle Michael Oher hosted the 10th Annual Goodwill Gridiron Halloween Party.

The event benefitted Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake, Inc. and has raised nearly $1 million since its inception in 2000.

That was when former Ravens tight end Shannon Sharpe wanted to start what has become a beloved tradition.

Now, it has since been passed down to Heap, Clayton and Oher, along with Ravens senior vice president of public and community relations Kevin
Byrne, all of whom help recruit players and staff members to participate.

Believe me, the guys get into it.

Here’s a rundown of the costumes Ravens players wore to the Dave & Buster’s in Arundel Mills Mall:

Heap & Family – Fred Jones and the rest of the Scooby Doo gang.
Clayton – A country bumpkin complete with fake buck teeth.
Oher – No costume.
Steve Hauschka – Plumber with a bushy, grey mustache.
Joe Reitz – A dancing silhouette from an iPod commercial.
Chris Chester and wife – Kanye West and Taylor Swift.
David Hale and wife – Hulk Hogan and Linda Hogan.
Chris Carr – A gorilla, in a full-on gorilla suit.
Stefan Rodgers and Kelly Talavou – No costumes.

There was a costume contest, won by two fans dressed as a tin of Old Bay seasoning and a crab, a silent auction, dancing, drinks, food, and of course, games.  All in all, the event was another success.  If we could just get Oher – the host! – to dress up next year.

Stay tuned to BaltimoreRavens.com for pictures of the great costumes.
