Ravens starting left tackle Jared Gaither missed another practice on Wednesday, as he is looking to recover from a neck injury that he sustained two weeks ago against the New England Patriots.

Gaither status for this Sunday’s matchup with the Minnesota Vikings is up in the air, although head coach John Harbaugh said Gaither was working diligently to return for the game.

If Gaither is not in the lineup, the Ravens will continue to move rookie Michael Oher to left tackle and put Marshal Yanda in on the right side.  That was how the Ravens lined up during the portion of Wednesday’s practice that was open to the media.

Oher played well in his only start at left tackle, holding NFL sack leader Antwan Odom without a sack.

Two other Ravens starters also did not practice, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (back) and linebacker Jarret Johnson (shoulder).

Tight end Edgar Jones was limited after injuring a hamstring last weekend against the Cincinnati Bengals, but he seemed to run during warm-ups with no discernible problems.

For Minnesota, electrifying rookie Percy Harvin did not participate in practice, while defensive end Ray Edwards (hamstring), guard Steve Hutchinson (back), offensive tackle Phil Loadholt (ankle), wideout Darius Reynaud (hamstring) and fullback Naufahu Tahi (ankle) were limited.  Cornerback Cedric Griffin (hand) fully participated.
