Here are the Ravens’ scratches for tonight’s game:
Samari Rolle (neck), Biren Ealy (leg), Dannell Ellerbe (knee), Terrell Suggs (heel), Oniel Cousins (undisclosed), Chris Chester (calf), L.J. Smith (hamstring), Stefan Rodgers (foot), Mark Clayton (hamstring) and Kelly Gregg (shoulder).
The Ravens will start Paul Kruger for Sizzle, Demetrius Williams for Clayton and Marshal Yanda for Chester. Looks like Brandon McKinney is starting for Gregg, too.
So, let me set the stage for you. The stands are very sparsely populated, and after walking around the field, it was pretty interesting to see the amount of purple and black jerseys dotting the crowd. Good to hear the shout “O!” during the national anthem in honor of the Baltimore Orioles.
Still, the Ravens obviously got booed when they ran out of their tunnel.
Carolina intro’d their defense after running out of their tunnel and under a big inflatable thingy.
The Panthers will take the ball after winning the toss.
Here we go. The fun is just beginning.
