Ravens receiver Derrick Mason was the latest at his position group to miss practice time, as he left Tuesday’s session with what seemed to be an injury to his finger.

Mason received medical attention when he tried to reel in a low-thrown pass from quarterback Joe Flacco.

After spending some time with Ravens trainers, Mason came back out on the field in street clothes and the middle finger on his right hand wrapped.
Head coach John Harbaugh said that Mason “jammed” it.

“We don’t anticipate any problems,” Harbaugh noted.

The Ravens are already thin at receiver, with Mark Clayton (hamstring) and Demetrius Williams (hamstring) both being held out this week.

For the past two days, Clayton has done some light movement drills on the field, while Williams left practice midway through the Monday morning session and has not returned. Neither injury is considered serious, however.
