Snoop Dogg stands on the sideline to watch practice while Ray Lewis takes a break.
The Ravens welcomed a special visitor to their Thursday morning practice as hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg watched from the sidelines per the invite of linebacker Ray Lewis. Dogg, who is a long-time Pittsburgh Steelers fan – one of the Ravens’ largest rivals – said he is less supportive of the Ravens then he is of Lewis himself.
But Dogg is obviously a football fan. As he stood on the sidelines with his five-person entourage, Dogg cheered on players, particularly the offense, which seemed to be performing well against the Ravens defense today.
I asked Snoop about his second-favorite player, and he said unequivocally it was safety Ed Reed. Reed, who was wearing a red non-contact jersey, greeted Dogg in the middle of the practice.
Snoop said, “Get me one of those No. 20′s if you have any.” Unfortunately, I don’t have as much as pull with the jersey department as you think.
